…dream big.
I like to live small and dream big. In my dream I’m running a small bed and breakfast/guest house, not too far from the sea in Portugal, and it’s simply decorated like this house.
What about you, what are you dreaming about today?

I love that style of decoration. kind of where we are at here in Brighton. Although ours is much more homespun and – er messy! !! but those are my favourite colours defnately and I love maps too. best thing is its actually an easy style to do I reckon.

Laura–I think dreaming big is a great plan and I love the pictures you post of houses. In fact, the one you put up here has a porch or a veranda or whatever we’d call it–I love it.

I have the same dream, and it’s on about a hectare of land (permaculture food forest, pond, etc.) with a separate cottage & a guest yurt. Do you know what part of Portugal you would like to be at?

i dream about moving to Europe and living somewhere with beach and mountains…somewhere like portugal…with a simple life, but if we wanted to visit a cosmopolitan city we could. ahh but I am american, already in love with and married to an american and cannot imagine how I would get there. EU does not welcome Americans even with skills in demand. I only see teaching positions.
It is it is so sad to me that many “meal ticket” minded people married (not for love) and they are living that dream…I did not compromise love for a business venture, and I am not living my dream.

after reading I realize my last post may not have made sense. I know women who have married men that they not only do not love, but do not even like, just because that gent was British or Italian…and that marriage would afford them the ability to live abroad. I married my true Love we dreamed for years of moving abroad….and only recently amd I being slammed with the reality that it is impossible to move to Europe unless you have takes a spouse who is European.
