Week 5 and a slight change; I only ordered vegetables as we seemed to have a lot of fruit left over and I didn’t want to end up throwing food away.
Because it was the start of a new month I did a large grocery shop this week, buying all the store cupboard items and organic meat I should need until April; hopefully, as this is my second month shopping this way, I’ll be a little more organised with it and be able to stick to my budget of £230-£250.
On the menu for the next few days;
- BLT’s
- Chicken Fajitas
- Vegetable Curry
- Pancakes

The pictures of these fruits and vegetables you receive are mouthwatering! Even though it’s early morning I’m inspired to go eat some vegetables (instead of just sipping on my cup of coffee). Your menu looks simple and good and satisfying.

Michael decided to go check out the local farmer’s market this morning so we’ll see what he brings back. It’s dismal here – raining steadily but that means the snow is receding:) You are doing a marvellous job at reducing your grocery costs!
