If you follow me or some of my fellow blog friends on Twitter you’ll know that we talk about TV programmes quite a bit; we like watching TV. So instead of a post about why you should save money by cancelling cable and ditching the TV, regular advice on frugal/simple/finance blogs, here’s a lighthearted one that says the opposite :-)
Pay for cable is you want to. TV is great. Simple/frugal living to me is about doing what you want to do with your time and your money; there are no hard and fast rules. Now if you have NO money and can’t afford to eat, then yes you should ditch the cable, but if you have money for entertainment purposes, which TV is, then why not, if you want to, use that money for cable.
I’m not saying that you should sit in front of the box every minute of the day, although if you want to why not, people have a right to do whatever they like. I’m just saying that there are many good reasons to have a TV, news, documentaries, sports, The Wire, The West Wing and the man on the left in the picture above^ who is the real reason for this post {I wanted somehow to get a picture of my favourite dream man on my blog and make a confession}
Joshua Jackson, is the real reason you should own a TV. I loved Dawson’s Creek because of him and now Fringe is unmissable; the smile, the laugh, what’s a girl to do; you knew I like younger men right?
Your turn, make your confessions; favourite actor/ favourite TV programme, good or bad. You could even list your top ten favourite programmes {which could be a follow up post}

My favourite series are CSI Las Vegas (I can’t stand CSI NY or Maimi) and my guilty pleasure no. 1 – Bones with David Boreanaz as Agent Seeley Booth.

I have to admit that I too was a great Dawon’s Creek fan and love Joshua Jackson. Some of my TV faves right now are Lost, Greek, Legend of the Seeker, and Being Erica. Also love to watch British TV including Robin Hood Series and MI-5. Watch most of my stuff on computer on Hulu and Netflix.

Well you know I’m frighteningly obsessed by LOST. It’s quite an addiction – who knows what will happen to me when it ends
Was never much of a Joshua Jackson fan but my boyfriend once talked to him at an indoor climbing wall in London. JJ was in town doing a play in the West End and for a good month or so he frequently went to this place. So next time he’s here I can point you in his direction.
Oh, and Jude Law went there with his kids once too (though I’m not much a fan of Jude Law either! Why can’t we get Jack Shephard or Flack from CSI NY down there one day?!).

Kat´s last blog ..…just watched the most delicious film
I used to watch Lost but I got rather…lost. I did, however, very much enjoy the Jack/Sawyer eye candy. However, for the past few years it’s all been about one man – Mr Jack Bauer. Say no more!

Loved Dawson’s Creek… obsessed with 24 and have a serious crush on Grissom in CSI – think it’s the older man thing…

I loved Dawson’s Creek so much and was obsessed with Pacey, I had loads of posters!
Keep meaning to get the first series of Fringe because I missed it. Mostly into 24 and Lost just now but I also can’t get enough of Grey’s Anatomy – it’s brilliant!
