I’ve been on my health and fitness campaign for over 4 months now and for fun, this is what I’ve worked out so far,
- Small mini weight loss targets work better {for me} than looking at the big picture
- A focus on health and fitness works better {for me} than focus on the weight loss
- If you lose weight slowly, you can have a bad few days/weeks and it doesn’t come back!
- I want my best body, not a Diane Kruger body {although I would like to swap places with her just for a day or two!}
- I can go a whole week without cake and survive :=)
- Walking doesn’t suck, it’s quite enjoyable when it’s not raining!
- It’s nice to wear jeans in a smaller size
- Your kids moan about the lack of crisps in the house
16lbs and counting!
What about you, what things have you discovered while trying to lose weight and get fit?

Interesting thoughts. Looks like fantastic progress. You can survive without cake?? Amazing
I just penned an article this morning on my own progress so far this year (due to be published next week). I have simplified my diet considerably this year. So far I’ve gone from 12’11 to 12’2. The walking has helped too.

……..another thing i’ve found is that keeping a sense of humour about these things helps
Have you been losing weight on purpose Tony, or did it happen through simplifying your diet and lots of exercise?

Yes, a sense of humour is always handy.
I had wanted to lose some weight, but was kind of taken by surprise when it actually happened

16lb is brilliant!!! I agree with all your points except I don’t stop buying crisps (or making biscuits/cakes etc) because hubby and son would not be happy. Keep up the good work.
