Ok that may not look like the best photo for a post in which I’m going to talk about getting back to basics with my health, but all will be revealed in a second.
You see we’re going to Lisbon this month and avoiding eating the pastel de nata everyday will be the hardest part of the trip…….they are so, so lovely and I’m powerless at the sight of them. But I’m going to try……for the most part anyway!!
Mini goals for September:
Health (Back to basics)

- Drink lots of water
- Lose 3lbs

- Send £657.66 extra to the mortgage

- Return library books (on time!)
- Do a car boot sale
- Drop clothes at charity shop
- Get a quote for house painting (outside front)
Onto last months mini goals which scored a very mediocre 4/8…..not my best performance.

- Drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day -FAIL!
- Lose at least 3lbs – Gained!

- Keep miscellaneous items spending below £100 (no eating out!) – FAIL

September is the month that I put the ‘simple’ back into my ‘simple living’…..it seems to have disappeared. What are your hopes for September?

Have you read Harry Potter before? Did you like the part of the book you read?

Hi Tashya!
To be honest I found it really hard going and not for me, although I can fully understand how people love it. Thank you for dropping by!

I love mini monthly goals!
I haven’t made a list yet, but I am planning to eliminate table salt from diet & continue taking my daily vitamins (I’m forgetful). I’d like to start walking again 3-4 times/week. I’m actively applying for internal transfers at work, but still trying to revise my daily work routine to lower my work-stress level. I’m also starting my photography class at the end of the month. Maybe I should write these things down so I don’t forget :-/

Well, they look very easy to make – but WOW on the sugar.

Maybe it’s one of those things you save for a birthday, Xmas or other special occasion (where everyone else will eat them all so you can only have one.)
Life is too short to force book reading.
