….frugal and better for the environment.
There is one thing I dislike paying money for and that’s packaging, I try never to buy any.
Ways I Save:
-I keep every envelope, jiffy bag, or box that comes through my door. I have a cupboard specifically for packaging and if I sell any item on eBay or Amazon I always send it in a recycled envelope, I state this in my terms and conditions on the sites so that buyers know.
-I wrap any presents (for girls) in the pink tissue paper you see in the picture, this was given to me over 2 years ago and is still going strong. Boys get blue tissue paper (not in picture).
-I use labels I bought years ago to cover up any old addresses on envelopes. – You can buy recycled labels here from the WWF.
-If we get items delivered at work covered in bubble wrap I ask if I can take it home, it would go in the bin anyway.
Thing I have buy:
-Sellotape!
Do any readers have any other ways of recycling packaging?

I’m the same at you. Save everything that comes through the door and always recycle my ebay packaging.. Sellotape, yes I do buy and labels, I have a roll that is still going strong..
I save bows from Xmas presents I’m given and use them on any gifts I give. I always reuse gift bags as well.. Every little helps!

Hi, thanks for visiting
-we need to find a way to get free sellotape, without stealing of course

Hi
This only really works with small gifts but I sometimes use ribbon to hold the parcel together rather than sellotape. Inside of clothes (usually nighties) they often have thin ribbon to help them hang better on the hanger inside the shop. I cut out and save these pieces of ribbon for this and for craft project.
