I like to keep it simple when travelling, one suitcase for two/three of us, and only one piece of hand luggage. I also use the following zip up wallets to make life easier at the airport.

You can buy really expensive travel documents holders however I find a zip up plastic folder, widely available for less than a pound, serves the purpose just as well. It will keep everything, passports, insurance, parking information, tickets, all in one place.
I use these zip up wallets for a multitude of things, weekly spending receipts, postage supplies, they help keep the filing cabinet organised.

I have always faced shortage of a good organizer (wallet, or leather bag) for carrying my personal possessions like Bank Cards etc. Either they are fully covered or there is not enough room to keep all of them. But this see-through zipped plastic folder looks great as it gives protection, keep things in one place, and obviously you can find any item more easily.

I do the same thing. It makes it so easy. I also think it’s a good idea to make a copy of those documents and store them in a separate file (or suitcase when we’re traveling).

What an excellent idea. We’re off to Norway in September so I’m definitely getting one of these and following your example. Thank you.
