New York Travel Fund

in goals

The eagled eyed among you will have noticed that I’ve added two travel saving progress bars to the side of the blog>

I took them [the sidebars] off for a little while but now they’re back as I like looking at them :-) I love to see progress visually, it really helps!

I’m slowly adding money to the New York fund and I’m 22% of the way towards my £5k target {2012}. Every time I make any money from selling my stuff, surveys etc, I put the money into the fund; it’s a good incentive to keep on purging.

What do you do visually to help you move towards your goals?

When we were moving to Portugal we turned our dining room in London into an Ebay room – put EVERYTHING we intended to sell in there – our visual indicator was how large or small the pile was at any given time :-)
