Not a lot of movement on the numbers this month - we’re building our cash savings in the first three months of 2013, and then attacking the mortgage over the other nine…..well that’s the plan at the moment ![]()
Next month, if all goes to plan, we’re aiming to make a £1k+ payment and bring the balance to £82,960.

Part of me just wants to have a mortgage so I can do posts like this haha!
When you eventually have a mortgage you’ll be so prepared for it I’m sure you’ll pay if off in no time at all.
You perseverance is astounding! I love that you use your blog as a means of accountability for your goals, but even so I am not sure I could do what you have already accomplished. Your original goal was years away, yet you keep at it! Thank you for the inspiration! If you can do it, so can we

You’re getting so close Gill!
You’ve had a lot of life changes, yet you are still making remarkable progress. I think most people would have stopped paying down early in order to complete repairs and renovations.
thank you! this house is a NEVER ending project lol (more so than we originally thought!) and each year we allocate an amount of money to it, to the mortgage etc.
I love how determined you are!!
Thanks Carla!
