Last week I blogged about compiling a 4 week menu plan that was simple and healthy; after posting, I realised that I already had one, one I’d used earlier in the year. I’ve adapted it slightly, but when we return from holiday this will be our menu plan for September. We are now down to three people in our household, so it will be interesting to see how the food bill reduces; there should be an instant saving of about £20 a month on milk, as my son seemed to get through pints of the stuff.
I’m trying to keep our food choices healthy and simple and will blog my weekly shop to keep me accountable. I’m setting a target of £40 a week.

Wow, you have a full month menu plan??? Crazy cool. I can hardly plan a week without running into the same ideas. Although, I have tried a couple of new dishes.
The Happy Housewife has a great exercise for building a month’s menu plan. I hope to get around to accomplishing that goal.
Do you make your own pizza dough? I’ve been meaning to try it but have yet to accomplish that too. lol.
