My new goals for May and a round up of how I did in April.

First off, how did I do in April?

  • Start a small herb garden – Planted some rosemary only
  • Switch to a cheaper Gas/Electric provider – No, but saved  £75 a year
  • Do a car boot sale – No!
  • Sell 5 things on eBay – Sold 4 and made £51
  • Take all purged items to Charity shop – Items still in my car
  • Open a 09/10 ISA  – No!
  • Some goals are being carried forward to May and I’ve decided not to do a car boot sale, I’m going to take everything to the charity shop instead.

    May Mini Goals:

    • Take all items to the charity shop
    • Open a 09/10 ISA
    • Read a whole book
    • Lose 5lbs
    • Drink at least one litre of water a day
    • Walk 5 miles a week
    • Buy my train ticket to London for June meet up :)
    • Clear the garden ready for fence painting in June

That’s it! What are your goals for May?

I made $20 off two things on ebay. And my purged items are still in the trunk of my car, too! lol! Great goals. I wish we had car boot sales in the US. Maybe I should start a trend. Hmmmm…. ;)

Great job! I seriously forgot it was already May 1st, today. (I even double-checked the date! Ha!) I’ll have to revisit my goals some time this weekend.

My goal for May is to not spend money (as far as that’s possible!). Easier said than done at the moment but I’ve got a few hen do’s and weddings to go to this summer and though I love the people involved to bits alas it means it will involve a lot of dosh :( And there’s no way of attending a hen do frugally as I’m not really in charge of costs.

Great blog! I have read your ebay article and am inspired. I couldn’t find your ebay name to have a look if there was anything I might purchase! Best wishes Win
