I haven’t come across the monevator yet (how have I not? Awesome!) Your plans seem much more exciting than mine: unpacking bloxes, figuring out my wacky boiler system (right now I have heating but no hot water, when what I want is the reverse of that. Erm…) and having a washing machine delivered. Fun times!

Mize has done great to find ‘her number’. With the catfight and makeover, I am really finding my number, too. And great post by BC. I think declutter is simply key to frugal moving.

Caught by surprise and honored
It took me a while to find the 600 figure…After one year carefully tracking and planning every cent it represents progresses handling my finances. Tracking is really important, it was the master key to begin the process of changing my money spending habits.
This is my first attempt with the zero budget/envelope system/600 budget and I hope it works because it would be really great to save 50% of my total income.
