Achieving financial freedom is hard. It can be a long, and sometimes difficult, journey. However for me, and others, it’s worth it.
If you currently feel like you’re taking one step forward and two steps back [or is that just me?] keep going: it’ll be worth it in the end.
Here are just a few of the articles I’ve been reading this week;
- This is what we are striving towards…at Balancing Beauty and Bedlam
- Dirt Locked at Minting Nickels
- Getting Rid of Debt for the Rest of Us at I’m Losing It Here
- What Do You Need to Get out of the Rat Race and Achieve Financial Freedom at Invest It Wisely
- The Problem with Being Budget Minded is Other People at Watson Inc.
That’s it for this week!
Thank you for reading and supporting Move To Portugal. If you haven’t already subscribed then you can do so by clicking the link here.

Seems to me that, at worst, your progress could be described as two steps forward and one step back. You have to learn to live with mistakes and setbacks and to accept that they will always happen. As you imply, keep your eyes on the goal ahead and try to glide over the inevitable distractions.

There are a lot to be said for fighting the good fight, even though there may be pitfalls and stumbles along the way.
Thanks for linking to my rat race post!
