Lights, Camera, Action: February here we come!

It’s Monday morning, the first day of a new month and time to get things done!

First I want to discuss January and all it entailed – not that much really. After being given the gift, and I feel like it is a gift, of leaving the workforce in December I spent January not doing a lot besides this, this, this and this. Lazy you might say, but for the first time in years, not vampire years but a long time, I felt relaxed.

I spent lots of time thinking about, and here comes the cliche, ‘what to do with the rest of my life’; I know that some of the choices I’ve made in the past were wrong, but what’s important is making the {hopefully} right choices now and realising how very lucky I am to be able to do this.

Now I still don’t have all my answers, but I know that I need to craft a lifestyle that makes me happy every day. So. Starting today. I will be working towards my goals with extra vigour. I will stop the procrastination. I will start doing. I will complete the things on my list, not just plan them.

Definitely, I find that being in action makes me feel better–I’m not sure exactly why. That said, perhaps it’s the attitude with which you go about each day that makes you happy and not the ‘plan of attack.’ At any rate, enjoy your time! And remember that sometimes the bouts of weirdness or the little funks are your chance to examine the way you’re doing things.
