Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

May 13, 2011

in goals

With any big life change it’s unrealistic not to expect some doubt.  It unrealistic to expect a 100% commitment to your goals every day of the week. Things happen. Hormones can run wild and life can sometimes cause you a little stress.

But you pick yourself up and you regain focus. You put your eyes right back on that prize.

And then inspired by Jenny over at Ex-Consumer you rewrite your life list to reaffirm your goals.

Eyes on the prize.

Hey Laura! Thanks so much for linking to my bucket list! :)

I’ve been to Niagara Falls, Canada and the view of the falls from Canada is much better than the view from NY.

Also, North Carolina is where we usually go when we want to visit the beach and it’s so beautiful there. The Outer Banks (there are wild horses living on the beach!) is my favorite part of North Carolina, but I also like Ocean Isle!

Isn’t it so fun to put the list down on (virtual) paper? :)

You know Laura, I had never even given Portugal a glance before. My dream is to have an extended visit to Italy one day. You keep showing these pics and I may have to add another destination to the life list!

“So far” I haven’t had any second thoughts about my big move to PEi in 3 years time though once in a while I worry about how my daughter will manage without me. Then I stop and think that that’s exactly what I need her to do – “manage without me”! I’m sure that some doubts will sneak in here and there over the next 3 years, that would only be natural and I think part of the transitioning process. You’ll be fine!
