I was very determined to attack my mini goals this month (I needed to after the distinct lack of interest I showed in April and May), and so wrote them in giant letters on our kitchen chalkboard. Well it really helped as they’re nearly all complete……although I’ve still done everything else before tackling the bathroom
- Get a part time job – check
- Make at least £250 in side income – check
- Keep the food bill under £250 – on track
- File my tax return – check
- Finish painting the bathroom* – still to complete
- Organise all my online docs/spreadsheets – check
- Clean the pc – check
So I may have found the answer to my getting things done: GIANT LETTERS!
How are your goals going this month? Do you do something that really helps you to stay motivated?

I really like the idea of mini-goals. Sometimes the larger ones get lost because they take so much time…
Great job on completeting yours!! Now I’m off to figure out some of mine!

Wow, way to be on target. I am a little under or a little over depending on the goal, but I feel I will get there.

Great job on getting your goals accomplished – it feels good, doesn’t it?
I wish I had a board to post my goals, but a piece of paper that sits in front of me on our desk seems to be doing the trick as well.

My main goals are around home projects right now. My financial goals take way too long to complete. I had a “get umbrella insurance” goal for a long time and finally got that done earlier this year. Now I want to look into switching my kid’s college funds to something better performing but haven’t started that yet.
You are doing fantastic.

Thanks Sandy! There always seems to be something else to save for doesn’t there?
