- Paint bathroom ceiling

- Re grout bathroom tiles
- Replace shower head
- Replace shower screen
- Replace bathroom tap
- Replace small bedroom window
- Paint small bedroom
- Paint middle bedroom window
- Paint back door (still to do)
- Paint small hall
- Paint mdf shelf in small hall
- Replace understairs cupboard door frame
- Put up new house number
- Re grout kitchen tiles
- Replace kitchen window
- Paint front door
- Sand dining room window
- Paint dining room window
- Paint skirting dining room
- Wallpaper one wall dining room
- Paint MDF shelves in pantry cupboard
- Put up extra shelves pantry cupboard
- Repair skirting breakfast room
- Wallpaper small cupboard
- Put up shelving in small cupboard (to make into linen cupboard)
There may be things I’ve missed, but there’s enough to be getting on with!

GOSH. You are SO organised (Alice hangs head in shame). I do keep random pieces of paper around the place with lists on them but they usually end up lost or in a random handbag somewhere (obviously now I’m not on the road anymore I am having fun using a different handbag every day. It’s playing havoc with my lists. Honest!) and ooops, I forget. But I do try!! I think one master list is a super idea …

yes I do. for the stuff to be done for the house. I think it could do with a bit of updating. but its there. I also have many other lists!!!!!

LOL. You sure do have your hands full. Why with a master house list and sending kids off to college…don’t know how you find time to complete it all!
You are rather organized. Me, I have a list in my head! Scattered, maybe. But when the garbage disposal keeps leaking water I am reminded that its on my list to replace.

I do keep a list, and slowly whittle off items. I am shortly going outside in a bid to cross off the item “weed front garden”. Captain Oates’ words spring to mind…”I’m going outside, and I may be sometime”…sigh.
I’m a user of lists too, but since I’ve stopped working I strangely do less than I used to of what is on my lists! It takes me longer to complete things because there’s not ‘must do it now’ pressure. I can almost always do something later.
For the time being, DH and I are renting a small one bedroom apartment in France which was basically in perfect condition when we arrived, so my ‘to do’s’ are really quite easy to deal with! We look forward to the day we can own our own place, but I see from your example that it comes with plenty to do!
It’s nice you’re making the place nice before you rent it out!
