Getting Things Done Monday {and this week}

August 9, 2010

in simple living

This week is the week of getting things done; I know I should have time to have a completely empty to do list but somehow I haven’t.  I have a few excuses but I’m not focusing on them, I’m just going to get my butt in gear and get things done, all done, by the end of this week.

By Friday night, as we are visiting family at the weekend, all these little jobs will be completed;

  • Go to the supermarket – completed
  • Get passport sized photos of daughter taken – completed
  • Send in daughters college bus pass application – completed
  • Book doctors appointment – completed
  • Cancel haircut
  • Repair sunglasses – completed
  • Replace watch battery {can I do this myself?} – completed
  • Go to the bank update name on one account and close two small accounts – completed
  • Update Amazon listings - completed
  • Put 5 items on eBay
  • Book train to London for September - completed
  • Finish curtain I’m making and hang
  • Save all our holiday photo’s - completed
  • Buy Dad a birthday card and present -completed
  • Shorten curtains in daughters room – completed

 What’s on your to do list this week?

I have a long list to do by Friday too. We are leaving bright and early Saturday morning for the beach for the week. I was planing on hitting the ground running this morning, but I woke up feeling very sluggish. Must go get coffee now.

I hope the coffee kicked in and you got some jobs completed Kristia; going to the beach for a week sounds like a good idea! :-)

Don’t you just love crossing things off of your “to do” list! You’re doing great so far! And as long as you can get the back off of your watch, it’s super easy to change the battery! The back of your watch just may get scratched… but nobody see’s there anyways right? ;) lol!
