I’m currently obsessed with stuff. I’m posting about it and apparently I’m talking about it, a lot!
I’ve started the final purge. I’m looking to donate, car boot and eBay anything and everything that doesn’t serve a purpose or that we don’t need. I’m purging the clutter and downsizing our belongings.
I’ve already got rid of loads in the last few years and thought I’d done my last ever car boot, but the trouble is, the stuff builds up again.
Rules of the purge:
- Anything broken and non fixable must go
- If we have two of something, then we decide if one will do
- Anything that doesn’t fit has to go (that will be some of my clothes then)
- Any item that’s been hidden away more than 6 months has to go
- No buying anything new in the interim
I’m going to start my own version of the 101 things to do in 1001 days list this weekend, all based on things to do before we move to Portugal. Purging will be the number one thing to complete.

Those are great rules of purging. Good luck!

yes indeed – maybe I should print that out and pin it up on my wall.
am doing pretty well. but the STUFF keeps invading (somehow from within the house – how does that happen?)
sold 22 things on ebay – and have just taken a load more photos. the baby sale is on 7th march. should be a dual purpose of earning cash and decluttering

Best of luck to you. I am about to wrap up my second month of getting rid of one thing a day as a challenge. I still feel like I have too much stuff.
