As I’ve mentioned before we have several little nagging jobs that still need completing around the house, the jobs you leave until another day when you’re focusing on the big stuff.
I want this house to look really great when we come to sell, however we haven’t got a lot of spare money at the moment, so everything will have to be done frugally. I also want to be a bit more constructive on my days off and not spend them all on the Internet. (last Sunday!)
My first project will be the back door to our courtyard or yard where we keep the bins!
As you can see from the pictures it needs a new coat of paint, a new lock, a new handle and definitely a new door knocker. Much as I love dolphins the knocker is not in keeping with the house.
Plan:
-Sand down the paint
-Prime and undercoat
-Remove and replace door furniture
-Gloss
I have everything I need in the shed apart from the door furniture. My first job will be to source this.
I’ll need to do a good job as these photos show every flaw.
