I read this book {The Power of Less} in February and I can’t recommend it enough. After reading it {twice} things have really started to fall into place. I’m finally getting it.
I’m finally understanding how my mind works and I’m finally understanding just what I need to do to try and achieve everything I wish for. I’ve also fully realised that I have so much already; I’d also got so caught up in the daily routine of life, spending far too long wishing for the future, that I’d forgotten about the now.
”Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler”
quote: Henry David Thoreau
After reading the book I’ve reduced my Internet time considerably, learned to focus on one goal and done a lot of day dreaming. Sometimes you just need to do that. I now have a quiet confidence that I can do this.

I’ve not read the book–I just poked around amazon for a little more info–but it sounds interesting. I’m curious to see how it works out for you.

@simpleinfrance Thanks – I had too many goals before and my focus was diluted, doing it this way is working for me. My main focus {goal} is to lose weight, and by concentrating on that more than anything is really working. 11lbs gone already
You sound so inspired! Good for you!

I have heard mixed things about this book – with some raving about it, and others somewhat less enthused (putting it politely). I’m taking it you fall into the former camp.
I stumbled on Leo’s blog way back in its early days (he’d only been going a few weeks), but as I had already put many “simple living” type ideas into practice didn’t become a regular reader. However, since you highly recommended the book, and since Amazon had a very reasonable price, I decided to buy it and give it a go. I’ll let you know how I get on with it
@Tony eek I hope you like it
I think the book more than anything helped me to fine tune my goal planning and realise the difference between projects and goals.
