Moving to a simpler, greener lifestyle is all about baby steps and at the moment I’m trying to do too much all at once. In order to help myself, I’m going to set mini goals every month, much like some other bloggers, and see if this helps.

February Mini Goals:

  • Add to food stockpile if suitable bargains found
  • Do one week’s food shopping locally
  • Only buy organic meat for my family
  • Start a one pot herb garden
  • Buy and start to use soapnuts for my washing
  • Reduce dishwasher use to 5 from 7
  • Continue to shun clothing shops

The best food labels I’ve ever seen, HERE, and HERE, warning do not visit, bad for your wallet!

Hi Laura.
I really like the idea of mini goals.
I´ve been employing this idea in my menu planning efforts and it´s working. The atom theory really works, step by step we get there.
I visited the stores :) Nice products, most look homemade.
Passing by to catch up your previous posts and to wish you a good week.

You will definitely have to let us know if the soap nuts work. Sounds fascinating!
