I’m feeling a little under the weather today, so I’m taking the opportunity to retreat to the sofa with some hot lemon and my latest library book: Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, which so far I’m loving.

Oh, I’ve been wanting to read that book ever since I took Ricki Carroll’s cheesemaking class. I live about an hour from her home/store. I believe she’s featured in it somewhere.
Get better and take care. Why is it that we never have days like that when we’re not ill? I always wonder why I just can’t chill unless my body forces me to.

I read Animal, Vegetable Miracle last month. I was prepared to not like it (thought it might get preachy) but I thoroughly enjoyed it and have already made a couple of changes because of it.
Otherwise I’m back to reading mysteries (my favorite kind of book). Have a new Reginald Hill to start tonight!

That’s so funny! I’m reading the same book (Animal, Vegetable, Miracle)! Picked it up at the library and am really enjoying it! I have to keep bookmarking pages to read to my husband. Really insightful and inspiring.
