After finding this free printable download for a Life List over at SeeJaneFly {courtesy of LobotoME} I was inspired to revisit our bucket list.
So last week hubby and I spent some time discussing things that we REALLY want to experience over the next few years and came up with the following:-
- Live in Portugal
- Go to California/Santa Monica
- Go to Paris
- Tour North Carolina
- Tour New England
- Go to Vancouver
- Spend four continuous weeks in New York
- Attend an NFL game in the US
- Take Amtrak from Seattle to San Francisco
Most of them are travel related, as we expected they would be – now we just need to save the money to pay for them all! :-)
What’s on your bucket list?

A great list – I hope you are able to realise many of them. My list would include things like – stay in a yurt, visit the Centre for Alternative Technology in Machynlleth, visit Scotland and start selling my home-sewn items.
By the way – maybe I’m being dim but what is the meaning behind the name Bucket List?

Hi teresa; I think it’s a list of things to do before you literally ‘kick the bucket’

What a fun idea for something to do with your hubby. We have travel fatigue, I think (although your plans sound fun). Most of our ideas would probably have to do with settling down . . .

Come to Northern California! I lived in SoCal for nearly 20 years. It has it’s moments, but the North has more open spaces, less crowded beaches. Something to think about anyway.

I take it you like the US then, Laura? Personally I plan to discover more of the UK. I don’t want to make the mistake I made while I lived in Norway by thinking they’ll always be time to do that later.

@Sharon J – yes, lots! You’re right about the UK. I want to make sure we see as much as possible before we move as I’m not sure how much we will be back.
Good to hear from you

That’s what happened to me in Norway. I thought I’d go back a lot, but in reality that just hasn’t happened. Life gets in the way.
