”William Morris Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful”

I have a very plain home style that tends to be all about cream walls and wood, I then use prints to make it a little more interesting.; I’m hoping that this will be what renters are looking for when we eventually get to that point.

If you use the William Morris quote as a guideline when de cluttering or buying anything new, you can’t go far wrong.

{In another life I would love to of been a designer but I have no artistic flair whatsoever, so I keep it simple and get inspiration from beautiful homes}

am right back on the decluttering crusade today. I skimmed a book called from hoarder to order and am all fired up. I find too many things beautiful probably. but nevertheless I am on a mission to be a little more focused about this

I love that quote. I think I am going to use that quote for my life.

I just came from a friend’s house that uses the same cream walls with beautiful pictures and I love her house. I am thinking I may take up the same decorating ideas. But first, I need to keep cleaning out the things in my house that have no use or are not beautiful. :)
