Hi Laura.
My name is Geoge. I am from Moscow. I was in Portugal twice. What a great country it is! Your Plan is just beautiful. Sometimes the same thoughts come into my head as well. But I have no idea how I could make money in Portugal. I hope you know.
I wish you good luck.
Hi Laura,
Just stumbled upon your (lovely) site. With it’s lovely idea and real plans, plus a road map to get there. Seems great minds think alike. Even in the 21st Century. Or maybe ’specially so.
Good Luck! I’m sure you and your family will make it. And have a lot of fun along the way too.
And yes, of course I’m going to keep reading and, cheer you on.

Hi George and thank you
Hi Linda and thank you too. Do you have similar plans?
Hello,
We are moving to Portugal too! I have set up my own blog to document our move and called myself movingtoportugal – I hope you don’t think we are plagarising, it wasn’t intentional! Please come and visit us at our new blog http://movingtoportugal.wordpress.com/
Good luck with all your plans. Best Wishes.
Hi Laura,
I’m really enjoying your blog and look forward to your posts. I share your desire to move abroad, but my destination is Tanzania where the love of my life lives. The plan now is for me to move fully in 2012 while in the meantime we split our time between the U.S. and Tanzania.
I am focusing on saving up every penny I can to have a very healthy cash savings (I call it my Tanzania Escape Fund), reducing my belonging now since I’ll take very little with me in the move, and continue with home improvements so that hopefully in a couple of years the housing market will be back at a level where I can consider selling instead of having to rent.
Best of luck as you continue with your Portugal plans!
Hi Brenda and thank you. I wish you luck with your plans, Tanzania to the US is a long way, it must be difficult living apart
Hello Laura, I have enjoyed reading your blog for some time now. I think that your goal is terrific and I have enjoyed reading about the path to that goal. I’m the child of Portuguese immigrants and although I do not live there currently, I do plan on moving there for good. (unlike you, I do not have a firm date set yet!)
I have a blog http://olivamor.blogspot.com and would like to place a link to your site, if you will allow me to do so.
Muitos Parabens e Boa Sorte! Cristina
