Hello and welcome to Move to Portugal. I’m Laura and I’m obsessed with personal finance, travel, organising, goal setting, simple living, home design, films, books, Joshua Jackson and New York! I live in the UK with my husband and youngest daughter……I have two other children, one lives and works in London, the other is away at university.
If you’re wondering why this site is called Move To Portugal, it’s because I originally started it to track our early mortgage payoff and then eventual move to the beautiful country of Portugal. However my life has changed so much over the last 5-6 years that the site has now developed into a place where I track my goals and daily going’s on, as well as still keeping track of the mortgage payoff.
I see myself blogging for a very long time, not because I love writing (please don’t look for the bad grammar because it’s everywhere!), but because of the support that it brings and the brilliant people that I’ve met through it. Put simply, blogging and the accountability that it brings, has changed my life.
