Sorry for the long absence. In among the house renovations and a trip to London (which I spent in a hotel room!), I’ve had a really nasty virus/cold thingy that has knocked me for six. It’s the first time I’ve ever been sick for a full 7 days in my whole adult life (thankfully), and it certainly makes you think about the day to day things you take for granted. Anyway. I’m determined to shake it off and make an attempt to get everything back to normal at home.
To-do:
- Put single bed back together
- Assemble new bed (spare room)
- Take rubbish to the tip
- Arrange collection of old cupboard
- Wash all floors
- Fetch grocery
- Menu Plan!
- Clean upstairs windows (inside)
- Buy frames x 2
- Do the ironing
Have a good day!

Good luck with your list!
I’m sure you’ll get it all accomplished!
thanks Carla!
Glad you are feeling well enough to write. Take it easy and don’t go overboard on your list!
I took the easy way out by making a list – can hardly string a sentence together yet!
Don’t do everything all at once, Laura! Your health comes first! Feel better soon!!
Thanks Sharon!
Feel better! There has been a horrible flu/cold going around. I’ve called in sick once a week for the last three weeks because I wasn’t getting better. So did my boss, my supervisor, and some other colleagues. Take care of yourself!! Do you live close to London? Will be there in May for a wedding. Would love to meet up with you and Adam Piplica from Magical Penny. Eat some chicken soup.
Thanks Michelle!
Glad to hear you’re feeling better and are back with us – I have had some time off blogging too but with other peoples illnesses not my own!
PS I see you’re planning a trip to the tip – we have a bit of rubble that needs to go over at mine!!
Ha! I’ll send hubby right over!
