We’re continuing our theme of de-cluttering areas/spaces that are in constant use, so today it’s your handbag.

If you use a handbag, from time to time it seems to accumulate stuff. Strange stuff. If you have young children then very likely there could be anything in there! I’m only carrying a small handbag at the moment, however previously I was one of those people who had everything in there, just in case. What I would say is, if your handbag is heavy to lift, then there’s too much in it.

To start:

  • Empty the bag contents onto a table
  • Tip your bag upside down and then give it a good clean/polish

De-Clutter:

  • Assess what you have in there, if it’s something you never use on a daily basis then take it out
  • Decide what you do need on a daily basis – I keep my purse, keys, mobile, pen, notebook, glasses and coupon wallet

Organise:

  • Put what you need back in the bag

That’s it. Very quick and simple. I hope you find this helpful.

Let me know how many items you have in your handbag, you could even take a picture and do a post on it. It’ll be fun if we all did one.
