We all have one; a place where all the little miscellaneous items get dumped. A Macdonalds toy, a screwdriver and an old key, are just a few of the things I found in mine. Today we’re going to clear out that drawer, or that box.

To start:

  1. Empty all the contents onto a table.

De-Clutter:

  1. Assess every item one at a time
  2. What do you need to keep? Remember, some of this stuff has no purpose
  3. Throw away or recycle anything that is useless

Organise:

  1. Anything you’re keeping, put away in the right place, ie; screwdriver into the tool box
  2. Re purpose your drawer and deal with small clutter items on a daily basis.

Now tell me, what did you find?

I definitely need to clean my everthing drawer again. It has once again cluttered itself. Thanks for the tips. Now if only I had an apothecary cabinet to hold lots of everything! lol!

ha ha! I have quite a lot of those drawers!!! I like the approach, one thing at a time. assess. find it a home…..

it is the way to do it. I think I might write that as a note to myself and put it in those drawers so that one day I can get around to it
