Do you always struggle to find a pen? or do you have pens all over the place? The aim of today’s task is to designate one place to keep all your pens and pencils. I have a drawer that I use, right next to my pc. If you haven’t got a drawer then an empty jar would serve the purpose.

To start:

  • Go around your house collecting up every pen and pencil
  • Sort into piles on a table

De-Clutter:

  • Now sharpen every pencil
  • Check every pen to see if it works
  • Toss/Recycle all the broken items*

Organise:

  • Decide on a place to keep your pens and pencils, by your pc would be ideal, or on your desk

*I’m trying to bring as little plastic into our house as possible and recycled pens and pencils are available from Amazon and Ecotopia

Love your 52 Organising projects! I had a big re-organise at the beginning of the year.

I sorted my bedlinen too ..(earlier post of yours)… and have a sort of filing system – I usually put the sheet, duvet and pillowcases in ONE pillowcase of the same set … when you change the bed you just grab the pillowcase and it has everything in it you need to make the bed … found this tip online somewhere … saves a lot of time!

Keep up the great blog!
